Due to the Software disruption at Appointment.com,\u00a0 <b>\ud83d\udca5\ud83d\udca5Request ANY and ALL Reservations by email to\u00a0lets.toure@gmail.com\u00a0until further notice.\ud83d\udca5\ud83d\udca5<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Payments are email\u00a0 invoiced thru the PayPal system, no exceptions.<\/li>\n<li>Custom bookings up to 2 months+2 weeks in advance are now available by for a flat additional fee of $40 per reservation, non-refundable.<\/li>\n<li>Regular bookings may be made a maximum of 2 months in advance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/column52][column52]<\/p>\n<h2>Accommodation Fees<\/h2>\n<p>The fee for accommodation at the huts help cover the cost of maintaining and stocking the huts (removal of outhouse barrels, supplying of firewood, upkeep of stoves, lanterns, repairs to huts, etc). In addition, the Society looks forward to the possibility of building more huts to meet the ever-growing demand of back-country enthusiasts. Please do your part to support the Society in its goals &#8211; please be responsible about paying your hut fees.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>User fee is $70 per night, $80 per night for Kingsbury, $100 for Jumbo Cabin.<\/li>\n<li>The fee is the total for the whole Hut, NOT per bed. \u00a0Whole Hut bookings only.<\/li>\n<li>Pre-payment is required at time of regular bookings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/column52][column5 last=yes]<\/p>\n<h2>Cancellations &amp; Refunds<\/h2>\n<p>Cancellations received by <a href=\"mailto:lets.toure@gmail.com?subject=Cancel%20Hut\">email<\/a> more than 1 calendar month prior to the first night reserved will receive an 80% refund, no exceptions. Within 1 month no refund is applicable. Please give us as much cancellation notice as possible as we may be turning others away from the hut you have booked. Refunds are processed at the end of the season.<\/p>\n<h2>Acknowledgement of Risk<\/h2>\n<p>Back-country travel comes with inherent risks. Avalanche hazards, snow and road conditions including washouts and slides are all beyond the control of the CVHS. \u00a0Every person has different criteria for determining what are &#8220;acceptable conditions&#8221;. \u00a0We are, therefore, not able to provide refunds for &#8220;acts of nature&#8221;. \u00a0Please take this into account when you book. \u00a0Hut visitors are encouraged to consult the <a href=\"http:\/\/avalanche.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canadian Avalanche Association<\/a> (avalanche.ca) website frequently leading up to the time of their trip to gain a complete understanding of the local conditions. \u00a0Know where the huts are located and reference with the appropriate region.<br \/>\n[\/column5]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[column52] Reservations Reservations are required to stay at all CVHS facilities.
