In our area <a href=\"http:\/\/canfor.com\/\">Canfor Forest Products<\/a> is the principle\u00a0Forest licencee. \u00a0Although these Forest Service Roads are not legally &#8220;Radio Controlled&#8221; but rather &#8220;Radio Assisted&#8221;, the use of VHF radios is strongly recommended for all users, particularly on weekdays on active logging roads. Drive cautiously and expect the unexpected. Be prepared to use the pullouts provided to allow loaded traffic the right of way. Be prepared to use the ditch where no pullout exists.<\/p>\n<p>Dave White &amp; Olive Hut Access &#8211; Forster Creek: \u00a0Winter harvesting will continue weekdays \u00a0until at least March 2017:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Road users should strongly consider monitoring the new\u00a0RR4 radio freq. 150.185 MHz\u00a0 and call your kilometers UP and DOWN.<\/li>\n<li>Parking lot is\u00a0at the 27.7 km with an outhouse.<\/li>\n<li>Ploughing not\u00a0done on Saturdays but possible on Sundays early am if new snow requires it for Monday hauling.<\/li>\n<li>*VHF handheld radios are not the expensive, elite piece of gear they once were. \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/nk0boN\">Here&#8217;s an inexpensive starter model<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>McMurdo Cabin &#8211;
