Custom Bookings – Revised System & Proceedures

Folks; In an effort to improve the Custom Booking option, lessen the guesswork and some of the frustration we’re sensing out there, we are experimenting with a ‘Calendar Preview‘ of  the next dates open for requesting. You’re among the first to see it and hopefully benefit by it.

!You can still ONLY request the open date when it becomes eligible by the same 2 month + 2 week rule!

Check back often, it will update daily as new bookings are made, and the calendar advances.
Revised Custom Booking steps:
  1. You must be a registered user, new users must register online first.
  2. Check the Calendar Preview for available Huts & Dates. *Note the red circled  example reservation date and the eligble request date. Huts in GREY are booked already, Huts in BLACK are unbooked at this moment.
  3. Know that our hard working volunteers from the summer maintenance workbees are compensated with pre-booking privileges, therefore a few dates are already booked in advance.
  4. Contact us at USING your REGISTERED EMAIL address and NAME, no earlier than 2 calendar months + 2 calendar weeks in advance with;     Desired eligible & available arrival date, available Hut desired and number of nights stay.
  5. If you were first in line, congratulations! Within a day you’ll receive a confirmation email as well as a PayPal invoice.
  6. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, check back to the updated Calendar Preview, you may have been beat by just seconds by others for popular dates/Huts.
  7. Revise your plans and request a different Hut, or different available dates, when it becomes eligible.
  8. Please pay the invoice promptly within a few hours to avoid automatic cancellation by the reservation system for non-payment. Monitor your email for the invoice and pay promptly to make this workable for us!
  9. The cancellation policy remains the same; 30 days prior to arrival for an 80% refund of the basic fee only.
  10. Date changes are available up to 1 week prior to arrival for an additional $40 change fee, non-refundable.
2 month + 2 week rule refresher:
Example: Today’s date is November 3rd + 2 months = January 3rd + 2 weeks (14 days) = January 17th arrival date. *February 29th & 30th are aberrations, the calendar stalls and does not advance for 3 days on December 29th, 30th & 31st.
Reservations open @ 12:00:00 am Mountain Time Zone. Often desirable dates go in the first few seconds, it’s that competitive now! If the email doesn’t have the correct date & time stamp, it’s disqualified.
